Wee Memories and Caring Hearts Card Drive.

I won this stamp along with a whole bunch of other stuff 8) from I {Heart} Papers and I have to tell you that Kate is wonderful. I bought a bunch of goodies (yay) from them and then won on her birthday bash. The previous stamp (xmas puppies) was a buy from here. This was my first time buying from them and not only is she sweet but helpful and prompt too. If you haven't had the chance to check them out I hope you do so soon.  For those of you wondering if this is genuine, I have 3 followers no one would pay me for my opinion 8) I just had a great experience with them and thought I would spread the word.

This stamp set is from Chicken Girl Designs. It's not one I would normally buy but I'm so glad I won it because now I know how great they stamp. Anywho this one included ALOT of masking. I stamped the skaters and masked them. I stamped the ice ponds and masked them. I stamped the trees and masked them. Then I used a large post it note to mask the grass. I colored the sky with tumbled glass and broken china. I moved the post it to mask the sky and colored the grass using crushed olive, peeled paint, and forest moss. I only used the forest moss on the very edges on the ponds. I removed the masks and colored the images in with distress ink and my H20 pen. I added stardust stickles to the back edge of the ponds and yellow to the stars. Last I mounted on black cardstock.

 I'm entering this one into Wee Memories Cute Holiday and mailing it in to Caring Hearts Card Drive. If you have the chance to send in some cards I know they will be appreciated. It's such a wonderful idea.

I seem to get the most comments on my scene cards so I will try to get a tutorial together on how I do it.
