Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger

Whew! This is the last one :)

I have never played along over at the Moxie Fab blog and I'm not really sure why. Once I saw this photo I new I had to make a project! Here is the Tuesday Trigger

and my take
This photo just screamed "sew me, sew me, sew me!" to the tune of the Just like Heaven by the Cure if that helps you envision it :)

I started with a white card base just like the photo. Now begin the paper piercing. I used two different templates for Bazzil. The first is Formal Flourishes for the stem and the flower is from Bring me Flowers.

I sewed using a bright blue and bright orange. I'm not sure of the manufacturer, sorry!

Once the sewing was complete I stamped my sentiment (Everyday Sayings, Hero Arts) on a 1/2 inch piece of white card stock. I layered that on top of a bright blue and then a pale blue punched with apron lace (EK Success). I glued the whole piece down flat.

I threaded three buttons with white thread and tied the last one in a small bow.

All done . . .wishing you a wonderful Thursday with no snow :)
