So Fresh

So this is actually the first card I did using OTWC colors this week.

When I first saw the colors I immediately thought apples. :) Thankfully I have the Hero Arts set Simply the Best! here are the colors again
and my card
This one is pretty simple but difficult to photograph all the glossy accents.

The card base is 7 1/2 x 3 3/4. I stamped the apples directly on the card for placement.

On a separate piece of white I stamped the apple 3 times. I colored them all the first is scattered straw, second is shabby shutters, and third is barn door. Once they all were colored I stamped over each of them in their same color using the Reversed Flowers and Leaves background stamp by Hero Arts. I was really disappointed that you can't see it well in the photo as is. You can see it better if you click on the photo to enlarge it. Once the apples were stamped I cut them out.

I also stamped the leaves three times and quickly colored them with peeled paint and my foam applicator. I cut them out and paper pieced them onto the apples.

I stamped the sentiment from the same set in jet black archival ink (Ranger) and then used my ruler and black gel pen to draw two lines.

I popped the apples on foam and then covered them in glossy accents. Once that was dry I added the rhinestones. I feel like they are a bit big but it's what I had on hand :) I couldn't rush out at 2am to buy rhinestones hehe
