Happy Fourth of July to you!! Any Independence Day celebrations planned?
I have to work today but thankfully only until 3:30. Then I'll be heading over to my grandparents for a cookout with family :) The 4th is our big family holiday and all of my out of town relatives come to visit, can't wait to see them!!
Today's card is fitting for the holiday and I'm playing along with Penny Black. The challenge is to decorate your card inside and out. I'm also entering this into OTWC color challenge. Of course it's Red, White, and Blue to celebrate this wonderful holiday :)
This is OTWC Inspiration photo
Here is my card
This large stamp from Penny Black's Trims collection has always looked like a firework to me :) I kept the card simple to let the beautiful stamp be the star (hehe) of the show. I stamped my "fireworks" in barn door, faded jeans, and broken china.
The sentiment is from another Penny Black set, To You. I stamped this in jet black archival ink (Ranger). To make my fireworks shine I added stardust stickles.
Here is the inside, I stamped in the same colors and used the same stickles.
Thanks for dropping by and Happy Independence Day to you all!
Such a great CAS card! Loving the stamped fireworks!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so simple, but really neat. It looks great as fireworks. Thank you so much for playing along at OTWC.
