Less is More with the Tuesday Trigger

Good Morning!

I'm popping in with a card for two challenges today. The first is Less is More, a style very dear to my heart :) The challenge is to create a one layer card with script. The second is the always inspirational Tuesday Trigger from Moxie Fab. Here is the inspiration photo

I really loved the little pop of pink in the tulips among all the neutrals. Mine is more than a little pop though :)

I stamped the poppies (Hero Arts, Delicate Blossoms) onto white card stock with tuxedo black (Memento) ink. I didn't bother masking before I stamped the script because I knew the marvy markers would cover it right up. I stamped the script (Hero Arts, Old French Writing) with soft sand ink after I blotted off random areas. I colored the flower with only one color of pink and my blender pen to lighten up the edges. The sentiment(Hero Arts, Live & Laugh) is stamped with jet black archival ink (Ranger). I find this ink better to stamp sentiments with. The memento always seems a little messy to me.
