Flower Pot Thank you

Are you all looking forward to the weekend? I am :) even though I'm working I know I'll be able to get to see my family and that always makes me smile.

Today's card is for multiple challenges. I don't normally make a card for more than one but this one just worked out that way :)

The first challenge is Less is More. The lucky dip this time around was a photo inspiration.

So when I saw the colors combined with the flowers I immediately thought of all the wonderful Flower Pots I had just bought from Bugaboo Stamps. I loved them all so it was really hard to choose which one to use :) As luck would have it the challenge over there is Spring/Easter. What says spring more than flowers?

Lastly I am entering this into the challenge over at Young Crafter's Unite. The challenge there is sewing. On a rare occasion I sew on my cards but for this card it seemed like the perfect addition.

So finally onto the card lol

I printed my stamp out twice. The first one I trimmed down to 5 1/2 x 4. I then pierced my holes for the sewing  borders. I did a larger cross stitch and a simple straight stitch.
I colored my second stamp with Marvy markers then trimmed it out. I added the base of the pot flat to the base then popped up the lid on dimensional adhesive. I also added the flowers and leaves with the dimensional adhesive. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, Year Round Sentiments.

I added a strip of gray to my white card base before adhering the white panel on foam. I finished the card off by adding a layer of glossy accents to the flower pot and some stickles to the heart and flower centers.
