Get your Kraft on!

It's time for a new challenge over at A Blog Named Hero and this time we are getting crafty with Kraft!

Now if you follow me you know kraft and I, we aren't friends. Me and brights, we hang with black and white. Sometimes gray gets invited to the party but never kraft. So this was quite the challenge for me too! But in an effort to stop being a color snob here I am and I have a card with kraft. Surprisingly, it's a card I actually like too, ha!

Probably has something to do with that adorable little fox :) I paper pieced Mr. Fox with the yellow from Echo Parks Dots and Stripes. Then I built a little focal point for him to sit on using cup o' joe midtone ink and latte chalk ink. Recognize the sketch? Yep, It's from Hero Arts Monthly contest!

Thanks for dropping over! Now head over to A Blog Named Hero to see the rest of the DT's projects! Don't forget to enter the challenge too you could win a fabulous prize :)

  1. You are too funny! Bright colors freak me out but not my good 'ol Kraft! Love the yellow & the pearls! What would happen if your colors & my Kraft had a par-ta?? Trouble, I'm sure pure trouble!

  2. I think your kraft card is absolutely gorgeous! Kraft really fits with the woodgrain and the little fox is darling! I've had a kraft idea floating around in my brain and you've inspired me to try it!

  3. Looking at this card, you would never know you and kraft aren't friends, Kelly! This is adorable! I love the bits of yellow - so perfect! Awesome creativity!

  4. Ah, this is one of my favorite kraft cards posted today at ABNH...LOVE that fox and your clean design!

  5. This is absolutely gorgeous Kel! I love the kraft and yellow and that fox is just sooo cute!

  6. Kelly, your fox card is so sweet. Love the kraft and yellow together.
