If you remember from this post I'm a little scarce on the "back to school" products but I managed to drum up a little something thanks to a few Hero Arts stamps :)
I started by stamping the ABC border for Calico borders and using my copics to color them. I fussy cut the whole border out because originally I was going to overlap the border onto the yellow strip but it didn't work out that way. Sometimes your cards surprise you. In my case it's like always ha! After I adhered the border flat I added the strip of yellow trimmed on an angle then stamped my sentiment. I added just a line of twine to tie in the blue from the border.
The apple was colored the same way as my flower from yesterday. You can see the tutorial here. I popped the apple up on dimensional adhesive and coated it in glossy accents. Here's a close up
I am seriously helpless to use this apple without adding glossy accents. Apparently all apples should be super shiny in my crafty world :)

I really like unexpected pop of the fresh blue in the twine. Great way to finish the card!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely won! And are you trying to set some fussy cutting record? I wouldn't be able to pass up the glossy either. I'm pretty sure that is what it was made for! You are rockin' the BTS cards considering you don't have very many themed supplies!
