Sweet Saturday Challenge Three

  Hello crafties!
I'm sorry I'm a little late sharing my card for the Sweet Stamp Shop Challenge this week. I was rushing around this morning trying to get ready for work instead of typing this post. I don't know why I ALWAYS think I'll have enough time?
Any who, this week's Challenge is embossing. You can use wet or dry, player's choice. If you know me, when I think emboss I think resist :)

I started by cutting a smaller panel and stamping the hexagon's from Pattern Craze in versamark. I heat set them with white embossing powder before rubbing on my distress ink. I used picked raspberry, peacock feathers, and salty ocean. After my inking was done I rounded two corners and stamped my sentiment in jet black archival ink.

I wanted some contrast so I colored the borders of some hexagons black and added stardust stickles to the others. I popped up the panel on dimensional adhesive when I added it to my white card base. Rounded the same corners on my card base and added a hot pink rhinestone. Done!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you'll visit over at the Sweet Stamp Shop Blog and play along. Remember you don't have to use Sweet Stamp Shop Stamps and the winner for a stamp set is picked randomly!
