Sweet Stamp Shop: Inspired by

Good Morning and Yay for Saturday!

It's been raining buckets here for the past two days and today isn't supposed to be any drier. I hope it at slows down enough so i can get to work without needing a canoe. ha!

Today I'm here to share with you this week's challenge over at Sweet Stamp Shop! We are trying all different kinds of challenges and this one is one of my favorites :)

This week we are inspired by an album cover! How fun is that right?!

I completely adore teals and yellows together (like I'm telling you a secret or something, psht!) I also loved the stacking going on from bottom to top.
Here's my take

In typical Kelly fashion it's CAS but I think you can see how I was inspired. I cut the bottom border with my Memory Box Hexagon border. I wanted everything to stack just as nice as the photo so I traced the edge of the die to create the chevron strips then just fussy cut them out.
I added stickles to just the lightest yellow because I'm addicted to them to add some interest. I chose this sentiment from Scootin' By because this card just made me happy. Love me some bright delightful colors :)

I do hope you'll head over to Sweet Stamp Shop to play along. You don't need Sweet Stamp Shop stamps to play along but there is a chance to win some :) Hope your weekend is fabulous! Thanks for stopping by!
