Hey crafty peeps!
Are you ready for another challenge over at A Blog Named Hero?
Good, because it's the 1st of the month and our new challenge is using a technique (love!)
Paper piecing is one of my favorite techniques because it makes it super easy for me to use all the gorgeous pattern paper I hoard. :) I have such a hard time putting my pp to good use! So here is what I came up with
I trimmed some pretty floral paper and adhered it to my card base. Next I trimmed a white panel and added a thin strip of aqua to the side before adhering it to my card base with repositional adhesive.
I stamped my poppies and my sentiment onto my card then removed the white panel. I re-adhered (I think I just made that word up ha!) my white panel to the card base with dimensional adhesive. I stamped the poppies again onto the pink pattern paper and trimmed them out. Depending upon where the poppy sits some parts are adhered flat (on the white panel) or with dimensional adhesive (on the floral paper).
I could of colored in my stems but I really liked how they look naked. I think it helps the blooms stand out :)
So are you ready to play now? I sure hope so because you could win
So head over to A Blog Named Hero to check out the rest of the DT's fabulous projects as well as enter your own amazing stuff :)
