Hello crafters!
How is your week starting out? I had off today and yesterday so mine has been pretty good :) I even managed to get some crafting done.
I'll have two posts for you today. This is one is for the current Play Date Cafe Challenge.
These pretty pastels made me think of babies. Never mind the fact that I'm 6 months pregnant and everything makes me think of babies lol. Seriously though pastels always have made me think of sweet little ones.
I decided I wanted to keep with that theme of using what you have so I broke out Hero Arts Playful Animals. I know it's not the newest set but I still love there sweet sketched look. Today I decided to paper piece them.
I used paper from Echo Park Everyday Eclectic and MME Happy Day. When I'm paper piecing I always stamp my image on my card too. I feel like this way I'm sure everything lines up and the little details (like tails and antennas) don't get left out. I stamped the banner from Heydey Sentiments in soft leaf then went over the sentiment with a black pen. The white lettering just wasn't popping with such a soft ink.
Thanks for dropping in. I'll be back later tonight with another card. This time using a newer set which I'm completely *in love* with :) See you soon!

What a cute baby card!!!
