Did you know April is A Blog Named Hero's Birthday month?! I can't believe it's been a year already, wow! We decided to celebrate the whole month of April along with some other pretty fabulous companies. Just another way we are always trying to bring you all inspiration (and prizes to win), and I sure hope we do :)
This week we are getting our party on with Timeless Twine.
They have baker's twine in a fabulous array of colors, so pretty! I used Strawberry Cupcake on my card today. While originally made for Valentine's day you really can use this twine all year round.
You know I love me some flowers, so of course I made flowers hehe.
I started by cutting my white panel down to size and tracing circles where I wanted my flowers to go. I stamped the leaves for Dots N Flowers on a separate sheet and fussy cut them. Once cut out they were colored with crushed olive and mowed lawn distress ink.
I adhered the leaves flat to my circles before adding the twine. It was really simple I just followed the outside edge of my traced circle. To complete the flower I added a rhinestone to the center which I colored to match with a copic.
I do want to mention I used Hero Arts/Basic Grey's new wood background on the red card panel. I stamped it in versamark so it's subtle but not as subtle as the picture makes it seem. You know, you can actually like see it in real life lol
So now I invite you over to A Blog Named Hero not only to see all the other fabulous creations the DT made but also to get your chance to win some Timeless Twine! Want another chance? Stop by Twineology where their DT is showing off Hero Arts and Timeless Twine as well!
Thanks for stopping by and Good luck :)
