Good morning crafters!
This week I wanted to play along with Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge which was Picture Perfect until I saw the photo.
Then I thought Oh Lord it's adorable but none of the stamp sets I own have anything to do with that photo. So I sulked away without getting inky. A few days went by and then I thought "You're a creative gal. You can come up with something." Challenge accepted Paper Smooches. Challenge accepted.
As you can see I was mad creative :)
First I loved the bead board in the photo so I created my own by scoring a white panel. I layered some green polka dot pattern paper on the bottom of that panel to act as my "carpet."
Here's where things get fun!
My table is actually the bottom of the easel from I Heart Art. The vase is from there too. I just trimmed the top and bottom off of the paint tube. The flower leaves and petals were created by stamping one of the eyes from the Spookalicious set. The stem is really a stem ha! It's from Botanicals I.
After I stamped all the pieces I trimmed them out and colored them with distress inks. The vase color was picked to mimic the pretty terracotta pots from the photo. I loved the bright pop of yellow with the dark green and deep orange. The sentiment is from their Sentiment Sampler and was popped up with dimensional adhesive.
All in all I think it came together as a successful Picture Perfect card :) Paper Smooches is also looking for a guest designer for April. I'm throwing this baby up there too. Maybe I'll get lucky!
Thanks for stopping by! I'm off to make Death by Chocolate Oreo Cupcakes for a coworker. Thank God for birthdays!

Super cute, Miss Lady!! ;)
