Hello Crafters!
Happy Monday to you! I hope your week has started out wonderful. It's raining here, but it's better than snow so I'm not complaining :)
My card today is for Newton's Nook current challenge and lucky for me it's my favorite kind: SKETCH! *happy dance*
I kind of flipped the sketch and um . . .inverted it? I think. ha! Whatever, you'll see what I mean :)
I started by trimming a piece of white on an angle then covering it using the little heart stamp from Newton's Antics. I did some quick watercoloring with my distress ink and an H20 pen. It's messy and fun just like I wanted! Oh and bright too!
The sweet cuddly kitties were colored by cutting them apart and rubbing on black soot distress ink. The lighter cat I colored before I inked up my foam. The darker one after.
The card base is some simple blue polka dots from BoBunny bold and bright collection. I added the heart panel and sentiment with dimensional adhesive. Of course some stickles finished it off :)
Enjoy your week. Thanks for stopping in!
XoXo
