Lawnscaping Meets Retro Sketches

 Good Evening Crafters!

A little while ago I ordered some Lawn Fawn stamps and they have just been sitting on my desk inkless. Isn't that sad? I finally got to break into some of them for the current Lawnscaping Challenge to build your own background.
I also paired it with the current sketch at Retro Sketches and we are off to the races!

Here is my combination of the two

I started by stamping Blissful Botanicals all over a white panel. I did do some minimal masking to add in the leaves. I colored with a combination of copics and spectrum noir markers. I love that they play nice together. Once it was all colored I cut out the square to create my frame.

I stamped the chevron stamp from Interlocking Backdrops on my card base using Field Greens shadow ink. I added a little white banner and some pretty pink twine from The Twinery around my frame before adhering it with dimensional adhesive.

The sentiment is from the same set as the flowers. Speaking of flowers, they got a little bit of glitter to finish them off. Everything needs glitter. I promise.

Thanks for dropping in! I hope you are enjoying your evening

XoXo
