Good Morning Crafters!
How have you guys been? I hope better than us! Our entire household was sick all of last week. It was miserable. Blech. I know you Mom's out there can totally relate to being up with a sick toddler. It's the saddest thing ever :(
Now that we are all feeling much better I did find a minute to craft and I just loved Cas(e) this Sketch's current sketch! Sweet and simple but tons of potential.
I had so many ideas but ultimately bright and glittery won out. Doesn't it always? :)
I started by using my ruler and a pencil to draw my zigzag. Once that was done I colored my lines with some super bright colors from my Spectrum Noir sets. You may not want to use alcohol inks with pencil if you plan on erasing anything. Once you go over the pencil with the marker that baby is not coming off. For me it wasn't a big deal because I knew I was going back over it with black.
I stamped my sentiment with jet black archival ink. It's just so crisp, I love it! That sentiment is from Hero Arts set of the same name. I happen to have it on good authority that it and a lot more of the new stuff is in stock over at A2Z Scrapbooking if you'd like to snag it :) You can find this set here.
After I stamped the sentiment I added my black lines and stardust stickles. It's so fun and bright, it's just HAPPY :)
Thanks for popping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
XoXo
