Hello crafters!
How are you this morning?
I'm okay even though this card hated me. Seriously, you guys, it was pulling teeth from the word go. I refused to give up. The card would not win!
So here we go :)
I am playing along with Cas(e) this sketch. I tried using this sketch like six different ways. It's adorable but we did mesh well together for some reason :/
I found I liked the card better when I turned it on it's side. So that's what I did!
I started with a few strips of paper in rainbow colors. I stamped Hero Arts Fresh Cut Tiny Triangles in jet black archival ink. I used my craft knife to cut out various triangles. At this point I was like "meh" but I was invested. Cutting out all those triangles was time consuming!
I added some outlines with a white gel pen and some stardust stickles. The sentiment is from Hero Arts You're A Rainbow and was heat embossed in white. I added it with dimensional adhesive. Finally I rounded all four corners.
I'm not sure what it is about it that I don't like . . . .maybe it's too square . . . .or it's the black pattern . . .I don't know. It's done now so whatever :)
If you would like to pick up either one of those stamps, or anything else for that matter, you can use the coupon code KELLYL15 at the A2ZScrapbooking store to get 15% off. They re carrying embossing paste now too. I finally tried that last night. What have I been missing?! So fun! I'll be back later this week to share the card I made with it.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are having a wonderful day.
XoXo

I totally laughed at the title of your post! I love how you rotated the sketch to make it work for you -- it looks great!
