Create A Smile: Foxy Coloring

 Hello crafters!

It's my turn over at the Create A Smile Blog today and we are talking seven, yep SEVEN, different ways you can color your images.

Here is the card I'm sharing that shows one of the techniques. Head on over there to see them all :)

I started by stamping my fox, coloring him with copics, and fussy cutting him out. There are so many darling images in Friends in the Woods, that fox is just one of them!! I stamped the window from Your View and masked edges to stamp all my pieces parts. I colored them the same way. I did want some shine on the frame so after I colored it with a gray copic I went over it with a silver metallic pen.
The background was stenciled on. I can't tell you what color it is though . . .I wanted a lighter blue so I figured I could just use what was left on my faded jeans foam applicator. Turns out what was left was some sort of gray? What the What?! Fortunately I ended up liking it so that turned out :)
I added a piece of black I trimmed at an angle to anchor my fox. I stamped the sentiment first in Hero Arts Butter Bar. the second time I stamped just the sending in black leaving a drop shadow of yellow. Add glitter and done :)

I hope to see you over at the Create A Smile blog!

Thanks for stopping by :)

XoXo
