Hello Crafters!
Welcome to the Create A Smile Blog Hop!!
You should have arrived from the fabulously talented Jenny Mullens. If not please head back to the Create A Smile Blog so you don't miss out on any of the fun (or chances to win!!)
Earlier this month on our Facebook we asked you what you wanted to see and we have answered! First let me give you some information about the company and this hop
Create A Smile are a new stamps company in town - their first stamps were released in July 2014. The stamps are made of high quality photo-polymer and produced in Germany. They will for sure make you smile!
These are the facts:
Create A Smile is releasing two sets TOMORROW! You can find their store at www.createasmilestamps.com
There are TWO fun sets filled with super cute images, available for purchase at 8am CET (2am EST).
You can win a $15 gift-certificate for the store - all you need to do is hop along and leave comments on all the fantastic and inspiring stops (one comment per person, per blog please!). We’ll pick random winner from all the comments - so the more blogs you visit (and leave a comment on) - the more chances you have to be a winner!
You have until Saturday August, 9th 8am CET (that's 2am EST). The winner will be announced on the Create A Smile Blog on Sunday (July 13th)
Enjoy the Hop!
For my project I chose Manuela Stockreiter's suggestion to create a box or a gift bag and use lots of sparkle! I used Jungle Fever for my project.
I stamped several of the gorgeous flowers, fussy cut them and colored with distress inks. I added little strips of green for stems and made myself a bouquet. It was tied with green twine. The leaves were created the same way as on this card. I added the leaves flat and the flowers with dimensional adhesive. They got a pretty coating of stardust stickles so they really shine!! Oh I colored in the stamen with a white gel pen too ;)
Here is a close up of the flowers.
I couldn't make a bag without a matching card! I'm so matchy matchy :)
The background for this was stamped with the lightest distress ink colors of the flowers. (does that make sense?!) I love all the sentiment combinations available in this set! Options, options, options!!
Alright Don't forget to comment as you hop along to have a chance to win a $15.00 gift card to the store!
Your next stop is the super talented Kasia Curry!!
If you get lost along the way here is a list of all the participants:
