Hey There, Beautiful

 Hello Crafters!

Two posts in one day . . .bizarre I know.

However, today at my crafty get together I made two cards, TWO!! I'm moving up from the one I accomplished last time :) I truly enjoy these little get togethers so much! Such fabulous girls <3

The wonderful Kirsty brought her copics. She has EVERY SINGLE COPIC!! I was drooling over them. Since I'm getting ready to place a copic order I wanted to try out all the colors I don't have. Needless to say I'm going to be broke.

I wanted to use the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch. I was so blessed to win last week with this card.  I'm such a lucky girl!! I love this week's sketch just as much!!

I tried to play along with Paper Smooches Anything Goes challenge last night and nothing was coming together. It was quite ugly. One of those I'll add this . . and this . . and that and nothing makes it better lol.

Today though. Today was different. I was armed with copics and crafty friends . . an all their supplies :)

Kelly Latevola You and Your Big Dreams

I've seen these die cut sentiments that are popped up everywhere. I so completely love them!!

I masked the stripes an colored with several colors of copics. Nothing special just some feathering. I was going to use my Kudos stamps from Paper Smooches when amazing Lindsay said she had the matching dies. What? I could pop my sentiment?! Whoo Hoo! I cut about 5 of the beautiful and layered them with the rainbow one on top. I have to frame everything so I did a double line with my black pen and a ruler before I replaced the die cut.

The rest of the seniment is from Paper Smooches sentiment sampler. I cut it part so I could stack it. I added some enamel dots to balance it thanks to Katie. She is my sentiment guru.  I really wanted to add glitter to the beautiful but Lindsay insisted I use Wink of Stella. I know this is going to shock you since they are everywhere but I had never used it before. It outs the most subtle shimmer down. So pretty!

That's it! Rainbow, mostly one layer and done :)

Thanks for visiting!!

XoXo

  1. What a cool, rainbow-y card! You made two cards while crafting with friends? Wow! I usually make about half a card if anyone else is near me, because I can't stop talking long enough to craft, lol! (I'm drooling over Kirsty's Copic collection... one day... )
