Newton's Sketch

  Hello Crafters!

I'm rounding out this week with some copic coloring.
I mean I've done everything else this week why not copics? ha!

If you've followed me for any amount of time you know I love a good sketch.
Newton's Nook has a good sketch this week and I just happen to own a few Newton's Nook sets. How could I not play along? I mean it would be some sort of challenge blasphemy or something right?! (just go with me here . . .  )

Here is their sketch

and my take

I stamped and masked a bunch of the flowers from the Versatile Vases set sans vase.

I love how the little field turned out. This is me desperately clinging onto summer. :)
I drew in some grass on the edges with my copics and outlined the flowers with a very light teal/blue.
The panel was popped up on with dimensional adhesive on top of some green strips.
The sentiment was die cut into a circle and the little strip was colored with a copic and then heat embossed.

I plan on getting some much needed sleep after church this morning.
I hope you have a blessed Sunday.

Thanks for stopping by!

XoXo

  4. So pretty! I love seeing this as it's dreary outside today - Wish summer would hang on just a few more weeks! I like how you used the Versatile Vases set - without the vases! So clever! Thanks so much for playing along with our Challenge!
