Sending Joy with Sequins

 Hello Crafters!

It's my turn over at the Create a Smile Blog today. I'm using that water colored embossing paste background I talked about here. It's amazing how a little color can completely change the look of something!

Here is a little sneak for you!

You can see the whole card on the Create A Smile Blog. I hope you'll go over and take a peak :)

Speaking of Create A Smile did you know we are sponsoring the current challenge over at CAS on Sunday? You could win a gift certificate to the store to get yourself some cute stamps :)

The theme is celebration with sequins! Sequins, you say? Okay I have to play along!!

Kelly Latevola You and Your Big Dreams

I used the bubbles from the Comfy set to create my wreath. I stamped in Versamark and heat embossed them in white. I added distress inks with a little water to color my bubbles. I used picked raspberry, salty ocean, an crushed olive. I rubbed on a light coat of salty ocean (i.e, what was left on my foam applicator) to make the white bubbles pop a little more. The bubbles I didn't color I filled in with stardust stickles. You can never have too much shine!

I tamped the sentiment in black. The sentiment from Your View originally said "Sending Sunshine" but I masked it to make a Christmas card. Immediately, I felt like the black was to bold! Too late to go back now right? I used a black pen to draw in a few black dots. I felt like that balanced it a bit better.
The sequins are from Neat and Tangled's Winter Wonderland pack. Love the colors in there!

Pretty simple one layer card but I think it's super fun. What do  you think?

Thanks for visiting!!

XoXo
