Hello crafters!
I'm popping in real quick before hopping in bed to share a simple little card I made.
Recently, I was able to try some awesome Winnie and Walter stamps thanks to my dear friend Wida.
I love this stamp set "The big, the bold, and the happy" !!! They have so many fun large script sets but this one is definitely my favorite. It has everything you need for everyday card making.
Since I own two sets now (Don't worry I'll be buying more immediately! Don't tell my husband) I made a card for the challenge Winnie and Walter has going on with Simon Says Stamp. Here is the sketch
These are the sets I used from each company
Originally I wanted to use the outline flowers from this set but then I saw those little outline dots and I completely changed gears . .
I started by stamping the happy and the birthday in Jet Black Archival ink. I wanted a one layer card but this sketch has multiple layers so I improvised.
In order to simulate the layered look in the sketch I used my ruler and a black Sakura pen to draw them in. Once that was done I stamped my "confetti" in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them in with copics. I did leave some of them white to add to the fun ;)
A little stickles on a few of the confetti's and I was done!
I should note that some of my confetti pieces did overlap my sentiment. I was very, very (think walking with an egg on a spoon ...) careful coloring in those circles with my copics because Ranger's Archival ink does NOT play well with copics. Ask me how I know. ha!
Alright that's it. Sweet and Simple today :)
Thanks for stopping by!
XoXo
