Graphic Hello

 Hello Crafters!

No it's not that kind of graphic. Naughty crafter. My hello isn't walking around in a trench coat waiting to flash an unsuspecting passerby. 

Graphc is my card's style. My card has swag. haha!

Okay let's be serious. My card does not have swag but it's kind of fun. I think if you invited it to a party it would a be a good time :)

I'm playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch. I love this sketch. It's just a good clean design with endless possibilities!

I took the sketch pretty literally. I loved the chevrons and arrows just the way they are. 

I started with the Chevron Pattern stencil from Simon Says Stamp. I masked the right side just a 1/4 of an inch. Now this stencil has a pretty pattern but I wanted all sold chevrons so I just moved the stencil and masked accordingly. I used distress inks in Festive Berries, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, and Peacock Feathers to get a fun array of colors. 

The black triangle "arrows" are from the Hero Arts stencil Stylish Borders. I rubbed on black soot distress ink and then outlined them with a black gel pen. I tried just outlining them but the pen leaked under the stencil so I had to start again :( 

I love the sentiment with the colors peaking through! It's from another Hero Arts set called You're A Rainbow.

I am working on something new for the blog. I'm super excited about it and I hope you guys will love it! This time next week hopefully I'll have it all together to share!!
