Hello Crafters!
The lovely Amy Tsuruta has put together another Coffee Lover's Blog Hop for us. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the last one. It's so nice to just go to the inlinkz and peruse.
Lia Stampz recently came out with a digi called Cozy Christmas and I knew she was perfect for this hop. Plus it let me use my copics. I'm kind of obsessed with them lately in case you haven't noticed. I'm still working on the coloring of people but with cute images like this I don't mind the practice :)
One of my biggest struggles with copic coloring is trying to figure out a card layout once the coloring is done. Anyone else have this problem?!
After I was done coloring the image, seriously how cute is she?!, I trimmed down the panel and stamped my sentiment. It's from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings. Don't you just love when your sentiment seems to exist only to be paired with your image. I do :)
I added some glossy accents to her mug (yes I know it's tea but we'll forgive her because she is so darling) and a little bit of glitter to her headband.
I added some pattern paper (weird!!) at a couple of different angles to add some interest to the edge. I saw this awhile ago on someone's card . . .Maile Belles maybe . . .and thought it was adorable.
Thanks for dropping by!!
XoXo
