Anything Goes: Thing 2 as Promised

 Hello Crafters!

I'm not saying I'm out of the slump but I'm cautiously optimistic. 

The other day I created two things. Here is thing two courtesy of Paper Smooches: Anything Goes. Sometimes making it up as you go is a good thing. I had recently bought Hot Concoctions from Paper Smooches because it's adorable, I love coffee, and I know that infectiously upbeat Amy Tsuruta is going to have another Coffee Lover's blog hop someday and frankly I'm running out of sets to use. 

When I got the set I saw a rainbow of different mugs and I really wanted to try to recreate it. So I did. 


I stamped the mugs in various distress ink and watercolored with the same. After it was dry I added details with a white gel pen. Fairly simple. the sentiment is from the same set I just masked it a little to make it a horizontal sentiment instead of a stacked one. Of course I added some Wink of Stella. That stuff is the crack of crafting. We'll be trading Wink of Stella's on dark street corners and behind dive bars. Seriously , they'll be an afternoon special on it soon.

    LOVE your "Rainbow of Mugs", Kelly! Beautiful water coloring, and I love how you added sparkle with your WOS glitter pen...so fun! By the way: I would definitely buy it on dark street corners and behind dive bars if I had to :)

    Holy moly! Your choice to watercolor was spot on! What a beautiful card. Adore the colors you chose. This looks amazing! Had to snort just a bit at your comments about Wink of Stella. You are so funny! :)

    Your cups are so fun and I love the bottom shadows. Yes, that Wink of Stella comes out of the pen and each time I'm completely stoned er, I mean mesmerized.
