Okay, I have some confetti filled fun for you!!
I used the super cut Birthday Stamp and Cut set for my card. I adored the little confetti design included in the set. I stamped it in black and colored in the circles. To create the random floaters at the bottom I did some partial inking with my Memento Tuxedo Black marker That sounds kinda gross . . .pretty floaters . . . colorful floaters . . .not any better eh? Whatever. You know what I'm saying. Confetti floaters, not like backwash floaters. ;/
I felt like the background still need to be filled in more so I used the fine tip of my Memento Markers in rainbow colors to add some dots. I also used my Versamark pen to do little silver confetti. I added clear Wink of Stella to all the confetti for some shine.
For the cake I stamped all my pieces and cut them out with the dies that are included. I used bits of post its to mask the white edge the die leaves when I stamped the confetti decoration on it. I colored them the same as I did the background. The stand was heat embossed in silver. I mounted the cake on a white stitched rectangle die and stamped my sentiment. Clean and Simple but oh so colorful, just the way I like it!!
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to get those comments in for your chance to win!
