Hello Crafters!
This is my second post for today but only because I wanted to share the card I made for my Mom and Mother-in-law from Nathan.
I love the way it turned out!
If you read my blog regularly you probably already know my little peanut butter loves all things kitchen. He has a kitchen he plays with, complete with pots and pans. He takes my serving spoons and uses pot holders too. Anytime I'm making something , dinner, dessert, peanut butter and jelly he's right behind me yelling "upee" so he can see. :)
When LiaStampz came out with her Cook Boy set I knew it was perfect. PERFECT!
See what I'm saying?! Don't worry if you love it but were blessed with a Cook Girl she has one of those too. ;)
Anywho I trimmed some flowers from another digi she has and BAM! Perfect from Nathan to Nana because you are so awesome and I love you card!!
I really hope my Mom loves it because I do. We even let him sign it :)
I colored the images with copics, outlined them in black, and fussy cut them out. I drew the wood floor with a copic multiliner and colored it too with copics. I arranged the flowers so it looked like he made her a bouquet (squeee love!!) then added a bit of glossy accents to the lid and jar.
I hope you're having a lovely day! I'm about to be done with work after a mere 12 hours. Happy Mother's day to me right?! At least I got paid :)
Thanks for dropping in!
XoXo

ReplyDeleteHow adorable is that little boy! It's a perfect Mother's Day card for his Nana! I hope you get some good pictures of Nathan cooking on his little stove so you can show him when he becomes a famous chef someday! Speaking of, is he sleeping more these days, or are you working 12 hour shifts sleep-deprived? Either way, Happy Mother's Day to you!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day a tad late, Kelly. What a fantastic card to celebrate. Your skills are so impressive. Adore what you have created. Sounds like you have a budding chef on your hands. How fun will that be as he grows up! :)
