Have A Wonderful Day

Hello Crafters!

I posted on Monday and all of a sudden it's Friday! Wha?

We've been trying to get our house party ready for Nathan's second birthday. I have been crafting in the middle of the night while everyone else is sleeping, anyone else? Ahh there's few hands. Go on put em' up. It's okay we've got to get it in where we can.
I tried crafting while Nathan was napping the one day and I had nothing. Apparently my mojo has become strictly a night owl.

The other night I made a card for the current Paper Smooches Sparks Picture Perfect challenge. Speaking of Paper Smooches this card was spotted by the PS Patrol and featured on their blog yesterday. I love when companies are interactive with their customers. It was so sweet of Kim to take the time to email me about my card. Love that girl.

 Here's the inspiration photo

I took the elements pretty literal.

I used a combination of images from Hot Concoctions and Blossoming Buds to build my table top scene. After I stamped and masked my images I drew in the wood chevrons just like the photo. The little yellow flowers are actually a solid image. To make them match my outline images I stamped them in light yellow and outlined them with a copic multiliner. I then added copics to get some shading. The sentiment was  created with a combination of stamps from Blossoming Buds and the Kudos set. I have the smaller version which I don't think they even sell anymore ;/

Thanks for visiting!
I really do hope you have a wonderful day!!

XoXo
