Hello Crafters!
Today is a twofer :)
Why?
Well the lovely Lia Stampz is coming out with the new digital Flower Set and is celebrating with a blog hop.
I couldn't pass up the opportunity to use these flowers, or any flowers really . . . but especially these flowers because they are gorgeous.
Are you new to Lia Stampz? It is a Etsy shop run by the fabulous Lia where she sells all her adorable digital stamps. I'm not saying go check it out but . . . okay, okay I AM saying go check it out. Her images are awesome.
Speaking of awesome do you want to know the best thing about these flowers right now? You can win one. :) Leave a comment telling me which flower in the set is your favorite: The Peony, Lily of the Valley, Poppies, Daffodils, or Tulips. I'll randomly draw a winner from the comments left before June 2,2015 at midnight to win their favorite flower!

I decided to play with the tulips and watercolor for the hop :)
I used all three of the tulip images in the set to create a field of tulips. I made them all different sizes and flipped some of them for lots of variety. Before I printed I recolored them to be a very light gray outline so I could do a bit of no line coloring. I printed directly to watercolor paper and used peerless watercolors. These babies are so vibrant, I just love them!!
the sentiment is from Hero Arts. I added just a bit of purple to it to break up all that black.
Thanks for stopping by!
I do hope you'll check out the rest of the girls projects. Each girl is giving away one favorite flower to one commenter so you have 5 chances to win!
I've linked them below.
Thanks for Visiting!!
XoXo

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazingly beautiful card you have made! The colouring is perfect, absolutely gorgeous! I'm new to digital stamps and being a techno-phobe I have not really done much. I did not even know you could print onto watercolour paper! There you go! Something learnt! I adore the peonies mainly because my son gave me a peony plant last year for my birthday. In truth Il ove all the flowers in this set! TFS!
ReplyDeleteOh so PRETTY!!! When I first looked at your card I thought How did she do that it doesn't look like there is an outline on the flowers!! well then I read your post and found out, It is just beautiful I'll have to try that with some light gray and stamping.
