OWH Memorial Day Blog Hop

Hello Crafters!

Today is party today but I couldn't resist making a little something for the Operation Write Home Memorial day Blog Hop.
If you would like to play along or visit the other participants head over to the Operation Write Home blog.

Operation Write Home, a charity that has supported heroes with handmade cards since 2007, will be closing later this year. All cards need to be sent in by August 1st, so I’m helping to get the word out!”

While I am sad to see it go I'm so happy the troops are coming home and I'm beyond excited for the next crafty chapter is Sandy's life. I know it's a long hop so I just quickly want to say a thank you to Sandy for all she's done over the years. You're a darling <3

red, white, and blue here we go . . .

I used the butterfly from the Butterfly and Flower Stamp and Cut. I stamped and masked and then colored with my copics to get a red, white, and blue gradient. I LOVE how they came out. Unfortunately I was just coloring away and didn't really think about where I'd put my sentiment. Ooops.
I decided to revisit a card I did a few months ago. It's like they're the same but different. :)

Want a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to A2ZScrapbooking?
I'm also hopping along with the same hop over at the A2ZScrapbooking Blog. If you'd like to see a red, white, and blue watercolor gradient with an emboss resist head over there to check it out. We'll be giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to one random commentor! While you're there if you decide to stop by the store don't forget to use  KELLYL15 at checkout. It will save you 15% off your purchase of $25.00 or more!

Thanks for visiting!

XoXo

  34. So unique and full of patriotism while not necessarily boasting an of the typical symbols - you have just taken the colors and with those butterflies just fluttered right into my heart - so awesomely done and love the way you did the sentiment - I would have thought that was your plan since it looks so perfect!! You are amazing and I hope you NEVER forget that!!!
