Sending Sunshine Kit Release

 Hello Crafters!

The Sending Sunshine Kit Release is finally upon us!!

Christine at Create A Smile has really out done herself with this gorgeous kit!

I think you're going to love it, I do!

You can head over to the blog to see all the fabulousness included in the kit. If you love it you should snag it because they are limited. Once they're gone that's it. Included in the kit are the stamps I used today and you can only get them there!

I stamped and masked the jellyfish, lobster, and starfish from the set. the starfish is a solid image so I stamped it in a very light ink then outlined it in black. I should also note you can barely see either starfish because of all the glitter sequins :)

I drew in the rest of the background, (coral, seaweed, etc.) then colored with copics. I re outlined eveything as I do then added white details with my gel pen.

Even though I loathe putting together shaker cards once I was done with this background it was like "Hey I'm a Shaker.." and I was like "No, you're pretty the way you are." and it was like "but I'm meant to be a shaker, stop holding me back." and since I didn't want to be responsible for being an anchor and not an elevator I made it a shaker.

The iridescent glitter was perfect. Because that is EXACTLY what water looks like when the sand gets kicked up into it. I'm glad I listened to the card because I love it!

Don't forget to stop over at the Create A Smile Blog to see the full kit and the other inspiration projects!

Thanks for dropping in!

XoXo
