Happy Birthday Pony

 Hello Crafters!

I just told you this morning it had been a busy week and now here I am back twice in the same day.
Why you ask?
Well . . .I made another My Little Pony Card. In my defense it's my niece's birthday and she has been in love with ponies for the last 3 birthdays. I will tell you though if you have a little one who loves the ponies . . .uh the my little ponies not the gambling ponies, if you have a little who loves those ponies you have a bigger problem on your hands . . .anywho buy the Spectrum set from Paper Smooches. You won't be sorry. I'm pretty sure before Chloe gets over her pony phase I'll have made every single one of them in card form.
So far I've done Rainbow Dash in a Spinner and Pinkie Pie in a Shaker today is just a simple watercolor background. It looks a lot like today's earlier card to be quite honest. Today's (tonight's?) pony is Twilight Sparkle.

I would have wanted to share but the current Paper Smooches challenge is anything goes and I couldn't resist.

Though I do feel a bit bad for the DT over there, they have had to look at a lot of pony cards over here lol

I did the watercoloring first because I knew my copics would cover up any color on top of the pony. I painted in some very loose pink clouds.

After it was dry I stamped my pony minus the eye. I drew that in with a copic multiliner along with her star. Then added some detail with a white gel pen.  The balloons are from Hullabaloo and they were stamped, masked, and colored with copics too. Last I took the sentiment from Royal Cuteness and accented it with a few iridescent sequins.

I really hope Chlo loves it :)
I'm off to work. See you Monday for the next CASEing Genius!!

Thanks for stopping by again!
XoXo

  2. Amazing! Your skills know no bounds, Kelly. I took another peek at the other ponies you've created and this one is just as stunning as the others. Your little Chlo will be thrilled! How special to have these created just for her.

  6. Oh wow, Kelly, I have to watch a lot of pony movies lately, in fact, I even have to invent pony stories every other day (yep, it's the bigger problem), and I must say I still love your beautiful card. So I guess the PS DT will cope with it. ;o) And your nice will love you TONS!
