Hello Crafters!
I cannot believe it is the last day of release week! It has been such a fun week!! You know what is making today super extra fun?!
These babies are in store!
Yep, you can head over and pick them up right now . . .you might want to hurry I think they are going to go quick :)
Today were going to look at the Doodle Buds stamps and dies. I also used the new Dreams Into Plans sentiment which I just adore. Who couldn't use a little encouragement?
If you've been following me for any amount of time you know I love florals. Especially outline flowers. When I saw these stamps I was head over heels.

The very best thing about them is how versatile they are. This post is pretty picture heavy so I'll try to keep the chit chat to a minimum :)
Need a quick card?
Stamp these guys in an archival ink, like WPlus9's Pure Color line, and scribble on some water. Drop in your colors and your done. I used distress inks.
Have a little more time to watercolor?
Stamp your flowers using distress ink pads or markers and add some water. After your first layer is dry you can go back in and add darker colors or more detail. This gives the images a totally different look don't you think?
Not into watercoloring but love your markers? Hey, me too :)
This sentiment is perfect to create a floral border filled with color. I just stamped and masked until everything was covered and set to work with my markers. After I colored them all I outlined them with my copic multiliner to help them really pop. I kept the centers small on this card but you don't have to . . .
For this card I made the centers much bigger but outside of that I followed the same recipe as above. A little partial die cutting helps those awesome flowers take center stage.
Don't you just love these images? I'm sure you'll be seeing them a ton over here :) I know this post was fairly brief in description if you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment or email me and I'll get right back to you!
There is so much more to see,
I hope you'll head over and see what the rest of the girls created
Thanks so much for visiting!
Happy Friday!!
XoXo

Ohhh Kelly, you and your work with florals has me looking at floral images so differently now. I keep thinking would this work to make a masked card like Kelly's? Usually I think, no....because I don't have your skills. I did try with a butterfly stamp I had, but it didn't look very good at all. All that to say, I really enjoy seeing those bright colors popping out against the black lines. You have amazing skills and I always look forward to seeing what you post. Thanks for showing the great versatility of this set! :)
