It's Your Day, Go Wild!

I'm in the middle of a long stretch of work but it's cool. I had ten days off before that.

 

Today A Day For Daisies is releasing some adorable new stamps. I'm using a cute one called Bird In Flight.

 

 



 

I decided my bird kind of looked like an owl so that's how I colored him. :) Isn't coloring fun?!

 

I printed my stamp out twice. Once on cardstock and once on regular printer paper. I trimmed out the printer paper to use with repositionable adhesive to use as a mask.

I used Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean distress inks to create a sky on my panel. I also kind of dragged it back and forth across the paper lightly to add a bit of movement.

 

Once that was done I removed the mask.

 

 

I colored the main image with copics. To do the owl I just pulled up images on Google of a white barn owl. After I was done coloring I, of course, outlined my whole image using a copic multiliner and then added some details  with a white gel pen.

 

The sentiment is from Wplus9's Party Animal set and I though it fit this joyful ride just perfectly!

The panel was added on top of some purple cardstock with dimensional adhesive. I then added that panel on to a card base I had treated with the same distress inks.
