Wplus9 Release Week Day 3: Make A Scene

  Hello Crafters!

It's day three of the WPlus9 release and today we are making a scene.

No, not like those crazy drunken walk of shame parties from college. Adorable scenes with adorable stamps :)

Today I used Going Places, Falling For Blue Dye Ink, and Copics to make this graduation card for a friend's daughter. Not only did I create this card but I made two more you can see over at the WPlus9 blog today.

I started by stamping by raccoon and masking him. I stamped the hot air balloon and masked that to stamp my clouds. I masked all the clouds too so I could use my blending tool to add some Falling For Blue dye ink to my sky. Removed all the masks. Ooohed and ahhed then started coloring. :)

I shaded my clouds with grey, blue, and a bit of purple which I've never done before but I really like it :)

I doodled a basket weave pattern onto my balloon before finishing off the coloring. I really wanted my raccoon to look furry. I used the flick motion to put down the color but was careful not to over blend. To add a bit of interest to the balloon I used my white gel pen to add some dots. I really love how the "wind" lines give the balloon some real movement. :)
