Color Throwdown: Guest Designer

Hello Crafters!

I'm super excited today to announce I am the guest designer for Color Throwdown during the month of September.

A whole month of challenges! Whoop Whoop!
I just adore a color challenge don't you?!

The colors this week are amazing . . .

I was really taken with the inspiration photo and based my card off of it.

I used Addie's Garden along with The Big, the Bold, and the Happy  from Winnie and Walter to create the card.

I made a video too :) It's edited. No worries. Haha!

P.S. In the video I talk about how ugly my first cards were because they were made in a vintage style. I'm not insinuating that ALL vintage cards are ugly. I'm telling you MINE are. Like really ugly. :)

The whole time I was coloring, stamping, etc. I didn't even realize the panel was a quarter of an inch short. Once I stuck it on a cardbase I finally saw it. Argh! Or at least I thought so.  I ended up adding a small strip of pattern paper from Doodlebug and actually really like it. I wouldn't have done it on purpose but I'm glad it happened!
You have a week to play along in the challenge.
I hope to see your beautiful creations in the gallery :)

Don't forget there is a giveaway going on and all it takes to enter is your opinion :)
You can enter here.

Thanks for stopping by!
XoXo

  1. What a stunning card Kelly - love the colours and the way you have used them - especially the (unintended) yellow strip across the bottom.
