Fall 2015 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop



Hello Crafters! 

You know I had to play along in the Fall Coffee Lover's Blog hop. I'm drinking Dunkin right now for God's sake. Because that's how I roll. Loaded up on high octane all the time :) 


I had this image in mind for my card for quite some time. Meet Penny Drinking Coffee from Make It Crafty. Penny definitely needed a comfy cozy chair to sit on  so I paired her with the Comfy Chair. 

I love how she looks like she's chatting. I plan on sending this to my sister whom I miss like crazy. We are both working crazy hours and I haven't seen her in forever. Whenever one of us had mad drama going on we text the other and say "I need some coffee time" aka It's going down for real." 



I colored this up with my copic markers and added a sentiment from Create A Smile's Coffee First. I adore this set. I used it for the Summer Coffee Lover's blog hop back in June. I love her layered outfit because that is exactly how I dress in fall. I'm a huge freeze baby for sure! I also added the design to the chair back because it felt so plain. You do what you gotta do. Am I right?

    Kelly, with the crazy days I have, my commenting time is limited, but I've had you on my Feedly feed for several months, and oh my stars! Not only are you exponentially talented in creating cards, but you have the gift of writing as well! A visit to your blog is guaranteed a delight! Your sister will adore this card, as do I.     wow... awesome... maybe you can do a vid in a week from now?! i have never before seen such awesome dazzling copic coloring... wow o wow... k well keep drinking coffee.. and see you around:) I am a bigger baby than you when it comes to dressing... bed time doesnt change my pj outfit and extra clothing all night spring and summer and fall and winter... all year round i am the same...LoL... sincerely "glow"ing :0)

    Your coloring is truly aMAZing! Seriously! Sounds like it's been a little crazy for you. I have no idea how you keep together with all of the DT, blog hops, etc. I see from a previous post that you haven't murdered anyone, or at least there was nothing on the news about it, so you must be doing ok. LOL. ;)

    Such an amazing coloring, Kelly! You always wow me with your shading skills. Just screamed out loud when I saw your card just beside mine on the coffee hop linky. Funny to: I almost used the exact same greeting on my card but in last minute I opted for a more delicate Lawn Fawn greeting instead.

    I realize you can't shoot a video for everything, but I sure wish you had one for this because this coloring is amazing! I love your work and this is stunning. I am glad you have a close relationship with your sister and can let each other know when you need one another, that is precious. Thanks for sharing your talent as always.

    Had to chuckle at your "freeze baby" reference. I wore capris and sandals to church and one of my besties came in a light sweater with a hoodie! And I drink iced coffee year 'round... Now. Your card is pretty darn amazing. You don't need me to tell you, but I will anyway...you've got mad coloring skills. And what a fun image; full of personality.
