Creepy or Cute?

 Hello Crafters!

How's the weekend going for you?
Good I hope.

It's cold and rainy here. Uck.
I did manage to get a bit of crafting in so I guess the yucky weather isn't all bad.

A Day For Daisies is doing a showcase for their newest stamps . . . Pumpkin Heads!

When I first saw the images I though they were pretty creepy. Then I was talking to a friend about them and she was like "Yeah, they were huge. Google it." So I did. Then all these old sinister old postcards came up and I was even more disturbed. I'll wait while you go Google.

See what I'm saying?!

I chose the Pumpkin Head Girl and eventually, I sat down to do my card. I kept thinking  . . .I don't do creepy. Then something strange happened . . .She went from creepy to really cute. Whaa?

You can watch the creepy to cute transformation below.

It's different, I know, but not in a bad way. It was good to push outside my boundaries I think. Plus, that watercolor background. Love.

So you tell me . . . Creepy or Cute?
Need to see more to make a determination?
Head over to the A Day For Daisies blog to see all the girls creations :)

Thanks for visiting!

XoXo

  3. Creepy. I stamped some birds that I inadvertently colored to look like a row of flying pumpkins. Not pretty.

  4. Um, creepy. But your coloring is awsome! I remember there was a pumpkin head in the Wizard of Oz books. I know they featured him in some cartoon spin-offs. Thanks for the great video!

  8. Yep, she's both creepy but cute. Something you'd see in Dr. Who and wouldn't know if she was scary or just misunderstood. But you colored her fabulously!
