Hello Crafters!
I went back to work today. They finally finished building out new office and things were scattered all over the place. I accomplished zero work unless hunting office supplies like a lion on the Serengeti counts as work. I'm hoping today is better. Cross your fingers for me.
I do have some good news. Are you ready? It's like, really good news.
What?! I know. I was pretty shocked when I got Denise's email inviting me to join the team. They have so many fantastic stamps. Not only are the stamps awesome it's like a veritable cornucopia of styles because they use several super talented illustrators. Basically, it's a colorist dream. Lucky me.
It's release week and their and so many gorgeous inspiration pieces. You're going to love it. Here is my first contribution.
Meet Little Spring Helper Milly. Isn't she adorable?! I couldn't wait to color her up with my copics.
I hope you enjoy the video!
I actually did color her three times. Thank God it all worked out on that last one right :)
Do you love Milly as much as I do? You could win some Whimsy cash and get her (or others) on the Whimsy Blog. There's eight ways to enter. All the details are here.
Thank you so much for visiting!
I'll be back tomorrow with another video featuring a stamp from Whimsy's new release. I hope you'll join me :)
Yay! Congrats, Kelly! They are so lucky to have you on their team! This card is just adorable! Love how you colored her! And I'm assuming you outlined the image this time instead of double stamping. . . . lol! ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card. Love the purple strips on the edges:)
ReplyDeleteCongrats Kelly, hope you enjoy your time on the Design team. Wonderful stamp and I love how you have coloured her. Cant image you havin problems colouring her but glad it worked third time.
ReplyDeleteKelly, I'm baaaack. Just finished watching video, brilliant. If you have time can you tell me the name of the pen you used to reoutline your image. It looks really good and I would like to try this but I cant hear what you call it. Much appreciated xx Aileen
