Hello Crafters!
After a wonderful weekend I am going back to work today. I did get a bit of time to craft last night and was lucky enough to do a bit of it on Periscope while chatting with a bunch of fantastic crafters. I laughed so hard. It was a wonderful way to spend my last night off.
If you don't follow me on Periscope you're more than welcome to check it out (Username is Disp6194) but I will warn you sometimes it's a little more than PG. Also, swear words. Sorry, not sorry. Last night I admitted to being to cheap too buy new pajama pants in a very embarrassing way. If that's not your kind of humor I may not be for you and that's okay. Stick to the Youtube videos. They are safe. However, if that is your kind of humor you can still catch last night's until about 9pm EST. :)
What did I color? Well, let me show you.
I wasn't even going to share this because I'm not a huge fan. However, my friend Barb talked me into it. It's not the stamps. These guys from Pretty Pink Posh are super cute ( I mixed Holiday Pals and Rainy Days) It's the composition that's jacked and that's my fault. I tried stamping it a couple of times but I ran out of time and this was the best option. Sometimes you just have to roll with it. They aren't all going to be an "it" card.
Everything has redeeming qualities though and I love the way the clouds turned out. So there's that. Instructions are pretty simple. Stamp dog, mask dog, Stamp umbrella out of the top of dogs head ;/ Mask umbrella. Stamp clouds. Remove masks and color with copics. Add white gel pen. Outline in black. Add loads of Wink of Stella. Mount on Coal Mine cardstock from Wplus9. Done.
Thanks for dropping by! I'll have a new video and a bit of news for you tomorrow.
Happy Wednesday!
A quirky card Kelly, but it is your grounding of the dog that I love - the colours are amazing.

Cool dog even if he does have an umbrella growing out of his head. Love the colouring and the effect of the clouds. Wish I could join you on periscope when its live but time differences make it a bit impossible. Never adverse to a joke or two or a swear word either. Its good to be having fun with it all.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet...love your wonderful little bear and that umbrella is amazing, I would love one just like it.
