Hello Crafters!
I hope you are having an absolutely wonderful weekend.
My sister-in-law was married yesterday and both Craig and Nathan were in the bridal party. Needless to say it's been a whirlwind of a weekend but it was worth it to see both of my handsome boys in tuxedos :)
Today is a twofer, well if you're into it.
I have been really into handlettering lately. If you follow me on Instagram I'm sure you know this already because it's about the only place I share any of the photos.
I really wanted to combine the handlettering with my stamping but I also know that it's not everybody's thing.
Why am I telling you all of this?
Because there are two videos today.
This card is the traditional card. All of the elements on here are stamped (and fabulous) I might at.
You can watch the entire card from start to finish in the video below.
I really like the way it turned out. I'm always a sucker for this night sky/galaxy backgrounds in watercolor.
A little close up because that's how we roll.
If you aren't interested in the hand lettered card the post is done for you here.
Thanks so much for dropping in and I hope you have a wonderful week!
This card was a combination of the two. I used stamped elements of course. There is no denying my love of stamping, or coloring for that matter. I also used part of the sentiments included in the stamp set.
You can see how I put it together from start to finish below. Warning, if you watched the above video you may see some repeats because the backgrounds were done in the same way :)
It's a little time consuming if you approach it like I do but I'm kind of weird about it lining up. You could definitely ditch the grid and go with a more free hand style.
I feel like it came out super cute. I turned it into a card but I could have framed it or used it as a love note. It's a pretty versatile piece.
Thank you again for stopping by!
I hope you're Monday feels like a Friday!
At the very least a Wednesday.
