I'm not going to lie when I first realized it was already time for Christmas stamps I was like. No. Just No. I'm not ready. Then I saw all the goodies being released and suddenly I was all "Let's deck these halls"
I fell in love with the poinsettias. I'm sure you can't believe it. In actual shocking news today's card isn't one layer.
BAM.
Just when you think you know me.
I put together a video for you. It's actually pretty quick comparative to EVER VIDEO I do. Check it out below. No time? No Worries. It'll be here ;)
I'm really loving that soft blue gray with the bright poinsettia. I may have discovered my Christmas go to color combo.
Simon is generously giving away a $25.00 gift certificate on each blog stop in the hop. For mine I want to know your favorite color combination for Christmas! I'm always looking to try something new ;)
You next stop on the hop is Anna-Karin Evaldsson. I know it's going to be incredible.
If you get lost along the way here is a list of all the participants in the hop.

ReplyDeleteGood afternoon Kelly,
ReplyDeleteI have found your videos on Youtube over the last year or so since my son introduced me to the wonders of the internet and oh am i so glad he did. I always loved to colour as a child and couldn't have been more happier when colouring came out for us adults and that it was cool to colour again. Finding exciting people like yourself and the amazing talent that you have just so inspires people like myself that feel we are not any use to feeling that just maybe we could do it or just try and see how it goes. Well flower, i will thank you for your wonderful video and wish you a good day from across the sea's here in Scotland.
My favourite colour scheme is sorry to say the old fashioned red, green and gold with the jewel shades to add to it but i am liking the shabby chic softness of christmass's long ago that is in vogue at the moment as well, well it suits the old fashioned 90% of me, hee hee hee. X
Beautiful! I like your coloring.

Love this poinsettia stamp and die!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely Classic design. My favourite colours for the holidays are just about anything but the usual red and green. I like to offer a change from what everyone has been seeing in the shops and all over. I saw the prettiest pink glittered deer on a card the other day and thought how fabulous it looked. I have used teal, chartreuse and silver for my cards. So anything goes for me.
