Concord & 9th: Love Always Bundle

Hello Crafters!

I'm so excited to be guest designing with the amazing Concord & 9th for their latest release!

They always have such gorgeous products and this release is no exception.
Love is in the air for sure!

For my card I used the Love Always Bundle and I kept it super clean and simple. I know that for Valentines day I always a struggle because I typically reach for bright colors and all the glitter ha. I'm 99.99% sure my husband doesn't actually want all the glitter on his card. Yes, this makes me question whether or not he has good taste.

This set made it super easy to create a super cute card that definitely reads Valentine while still being super masculine. Because, that stripe though.  Seriously, expect to see it on all my cards this month. I won't be able to stop myself. I

I used the Love Always Frame dies to create an opening in my card panel. This frame was actually made to create a frame for little love notes but it's a great size to use as a focal point on a card.
The frame leaves about a 1/2 inch gap so you can cut the script love or a line of hearts through the center and it will be attached on either side. It's so cool!

I wanted my sentiment to stand out a bit so I cut a second love out of gold foil and trimmed it out with my scissors. I adhered it directly to the top of the first love. I masked the edges of my card base and then stamped the stripes. I trimmed down my die cut panel so I'd have a 1/8 inch white border on each side and adhered it over my stamped card base.

I was following the gallon/pint/quart rule for my color scheme and knew it would be completed perfectly by a few red hearts. I cut the heart dies from Love Notes in a bright red. After I added them to the card I gave them a healthy dose of Clear Wink of Stella and topped them off with some glossy accents.

I do want to note that I had every intention of doing a super quick video for you guys. Unfortunately, the film gremlins struck again. I hope they are enjoying the footage they stole immensely. Jerks.

Thanks so much for stopping by and big thanks to Angie and Greg for inviting me along!
I'll see you guys next Thursday for with another Concord & 9th project.
Hopefully video intact :)
