Watercolor Roses

 Hello Crafters!

Can you believe it's the last day of February?!
In two weeks we're springing forward.

Sunshine at 6:30pm is in my future.
Hallelujah!

Even though I love Summer with it's long days and hot temps Spring is my favorite season.
Hands down. No competition.
I think it's because everything is new.
Like one day I'll be driving to work and realize that there's new buds on the trees where yesterday there was just brown.
Oh man, I can't wait.

To hold me over I just stamp all the flowers hehe

Winter is typically my roughest creating season and I try to break out of my rut by returning to styles and techniques I haven't done in a while. Enter watercolor flowers stage right.

You can watch the whole process in the video below.

I really am going to try that painterly background one day lol. As soon as I get the guts to throw caution to the wind :)
In the meantime I can live with a vibrant colored rose.
How about you?

Thanks for stopping in, I hope you have an amazing week!

What kind of brush are you using for your watetcoloring? Is it naturally curved like that?
