For my card today I used three of the new sets. I really love combining sets that are unexpected.
For this card I added in the stripes from the Handmade Tags set, the sentiment from Family Matters, some gorgeous flowers from Garden Treasures, and the staple of the card the Layered Cupcake.
You can watch the entire card come together in the video below
It's a long blog hop so if you don't have time to watch no worries, it'll be here :)
I have to tell you the finished photos may look slightly different than the card in the video why?
Because I am the mother of a three year old.
I laid down to take a nap and left my husband in charge. When I woke up my little peanut proudly informed me that while I was napping he was in my craft room coloring a card.
Oh no.
Oh yes, in fat he colored it with copics and nail polish. Before I photographed it.
So I actually had to color it twice. Good thing he's so cute :)
Your next stop on the hop is the amazing May Sukyong Park.
If you get lost along the way here's the complete list
Thanks so much for visiting!

ReplyDeleteSome things are worth doing twice! For me it was cookies for the after church fellowship. My son was about two and a half--walked into the kitchen to find him sitting in the middle of the kitchen table with his plastic hammer. The cookie crumbs were really good sprinkled over ice cream, and I had enough time and ingredients to complete another batch in time! (Actually, I just shared that story with my daughter-in-love yesterday!) Great card! Thanks.
