For My Sweet Friend: The Cupcake Revisited

Heading into this weekend I'm going to get to see most of my crafty friends so needless to say I'm super excited for Friday to get here :) 

Last week I did an elegant cupcake card for my Momma's birthday but when I was doing it I actually stamped out to cards because I couldn't decide which way I wanted to go. 

Today I'm sharing the more playful version with you.

Alright let's get on to the card!

I'm really trying to embrace those pastel colors in my coloring. It's so hard for me though! 

I just feel like it's missing that BAM contrast. However, I really do think the softer colors are pretty. 

I decided to go ahead and make a video out of this one even though I just did a cupcake video. Basically, because I didn't color everything the same and there's a ton of different elements. 

Did you think it was different enough to warrant another video? I'd love to know! 

Those balloons were a last minute addition but yours truly and I think it kind of shows. I probably should have hunted through my Altenew stamps to find something to fill that area but I impromptu add those balloons because it needed something to balance the card. 

Live and learn I guess haha.
