Simple Wedding Wishes

 Hello Crafters! 

I have been blessed to work for some amazing companies in the last few years. 

This includes my wonderful friend and the owner of Wplus9.

I adore all her designs but this newest release has really stolen my heart. 

Why? 

Well there are gorgeous florals, butterflies and adorable critters.

Because of my blessings I often run out of time to create just for the sake of creating. 

I do find time every once in a while and I was lucky enough to do so today. 

A very good friend of mine was recently married and I had yet to make her a card. 

Eeeep. 

Fortunately for me the Large Butterfly Frame made it super quick and easy to create a card I know she'll love. 

I covered my cardstock super quickly with Distress inks. I didn't take any real time to blend because I knew I was going to die cut it. The areas being die cut were so intricate that I knew any imprefections in my blending wouldn't show. 

Once my butterflies were die cut they were gorgeous as is. I wanted to change it up a bit so I trimmed the butterflies out of their frame. Just to get a bit of depth I added a bit of copic marker to create bodies and then just a bit of shading on the inside of their wings. 

I also busted out my white gel pen to give their bodies and wings a bit more interest. 

I adhered them to a smaller piece of white cardstock and then popped up the panel on some white foam. I added the dimensional piece to a white card base.  It's hard to tell in the photo but I lifted up some of the wings for added dimension. 

The sentiments available in the  Modern Peonies set were perfect for a wedding card. I love sets like this that give you different options to build your own sentiments. 

A few clear sequins and a bit of Wink of Stella finished the card off. 

Did you notice I've fallen victim to the new photo staging trend? 

Haha. They were all so pretty! I couldn't help but be sucked it.
