Three Styles: InkBlot Shop Flopsy Birds

 

Hello Crafters! 

Back in April I was so honored to be part of Simon Says Create and one of the many blessings that came from that adventure was making some new friends. 

If you follow my Instagram you might have seen that I had some pretty exceptional neighbors at the Create It Take It. One of those was the incredible Tifany DeGough who is the owner of the Ink Blot Shop. 

I actually already owned one of her sets called Rainbow Promise because well rainbows and it's filled with super charming little animals. I was over the moon when I got an email from Tifany asking me if I'd like to guest for her and use some of her new adorable stamps. 

Flopsy Birds and Tiny Bubbles were just released this past week and I cannot even tell you how much I adore them! All of the birds have so much character. 

When I sat down to  create I actually ran into a bit of a roadblock because I wasn't loving the way things were turning out. It happens to all of us. 

I repressed my initial reaction to pitch it in the trash. Instead I decided I'd make three cards in three different styles and if I didn't love all the styles it was okay. Because maybe you will :)

Like I said in the video the Layered style is the most busy and is my least favorite but that doesn't mean I don't love them when other people create in the style.
Isn't that funny how we can love someone else's take on it and never love our own? 

Whatever your style is I hope this will inspire you to maybe try something a little different. If you're mostly clean and simple like me go for clean and layered. If your cards usually have tons of layers try a clean and simple approach. You never know what you might end up loving!
